Hares Ear Caddis This caddis pattern is excellent because of the hackle which gives the fly movement, and fishing it on the top dropper works very well. Trout will take flies of this class readily, try fishing a long leader, about twenty feet with the Hares Ear Caddis on the top dropper and Gold Ribbed Hares Ear nymphs below it a winning combination.
