Claret Hopper This series of still water dry flies originated at Grafham Res. they represent the daddy longlegs and work very well too. The hopper comes in many colours so no problem matching the hatch. Fishing the hoppers in two's is the best way, size 10 on the point and size 12 on the dropper. If when fishing the hopper things are a bit slow, give the fly line a hard pull and sink the hoppers then slow figure of eight the results can be great.
