Hares Ear Klinkhammer

Hares Ear Klinkhamer Hans van Klinkhamer is the guy who devised this pattern as a emerging sedge. This fly is a great search pattern when times are difficult and it is very visible to the angler due to the white poly yarn post. First intended as a river pattern but now used on still waters, the body of the fly sits in the surface film and is very attractive to the trout. I like fishing the fly on it's own on a long leader.
